Jill Jill  Mary Ackerman ( “Tuning in to the Beloved, Unveiling the Treasures Within”:  an exploration in movement patterns, poetry from the Sufi mystics, love songs for the Divine, and simple acupressure practices for attuning our Body, Mind and Spirit to receive and transmit with grace- the Life Force that exists all around us.)

Jill  has been  engaged in the healing arts for 27+ years. She  offers a whole spectrum view of wellness for the body, mind and spirit.  She is a licensed acupuncturist incorporating massage, aromatherapy, intuitive healing, sound and movement education. She is also a dancer and taught Flamenco dance.  Jill was born in Hawaii and resides there now.  She  lived several years in Rome.

Psychotherapist, psychologist, trainer and workshop leader.  Pat lives both in Cambridge, U.K. and Campiglia Marittima, Italy.  She has 6 grandchildren. Pat has a deep love for the Etruscan archaeological area of the Tuscan coast which overlooks the Island of Elba. She has returned over and over again to this area for her own healing and renewal. She has also found here a special reunion space for connections with family, friends, colleagues and kindred spirits.  She finds the area rich in spiritual and creative energies . Show ▼


Frida Frida van der Horst An Introduction tho the Etruscans”: A Day with Frida on her land overlooking the Bay of Baratti” www.barattibay.org

Frida  was born in Holland and inherited her interest in agriculture from her mother’s side.  She graduated at Rome University  and  discovered  the Etruscan Culture.  She became fascinated with their joy of living and communication with nature.  She discovered Etruscan places where she felt as if she was coming home.  Arriving in the Etruscan Bay of Baratti, she immediately realized that this was the place she had been looking for all her life and where she belonged. hh2 HAR HARI KAUR (Yoga) www.sukhmani.co.uk Har Hari is a student of life, a yoga teacher and trainer, and a mother. She began her working life as a lawyer, and has been teaching yoga for over 20 years, mostly in the UK, but sometimes abroad. She runs the Sukhmani Yoga Centre based in Cambridge UK which has been providing teacher trainings in kundalini yoga and serving the community with regular classes in a variety of types of yoga and healing disciplines. Monica is Italian and lives in Milan.  She grew up in the umbrian countryside and can identify edible herbs and grassess. She is a psychologist and psychotherapist and now works in job re-training for a major Italian bank.  She is also trained in information technology.  Monica is an enthusiastic cook, a jewelery maker and photographer.  She is passionate about orchids.

Ady Ady Costantini- Participant Support I’m English, married to an Anglo-Italian and have been living in Rome for years, where up till recently, I helped my good friend Glenys, doing English sub-titles for Italian television. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
I’ve  worked with airline companies in England and after travelling to many different countries, decided that Italy was the place for me and since my husband  as transferred here originally with the airline he was with, I’ve been a very happy bunny!

mIchelle_photo 009 Michelle (Shelly) Noon -Participant Support Shelly, an American, has lived many years in Italy, now in Mugnano in Teverino (www.romacountryhouse.com).

A journalist and a photographer, Shelly was Italian bureau chief for VISNEWS Ltd. (now Reuters ) T.V. agency in Rome.  She has been awarded prize as Outstanding Foreign Journalist in Italy.  She has been a freelance correspondent and photographer  for ITN Channel Four News, London. Shelly is dedicated to eco-friendly issues and womens rights She and her partner have created a beautiful home and worked at organic farming.

roby Roberta Bertazza- Organizer Roberta is in her 40s and lives and works in Campiglia Maritttima. She is Italian and lived in Milan until 2003 when, with her anglo/italian husband decided to move to Tuscany to give them and their two children the chance of a better quality of life.  She has been working in the tourism industry for the last 20 years, mostly sending people to lovely places in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands.  Roberta is now Italian Representativeve for clients based in the Cook islands and Fiji.

After turning 40 she discovered a good way to relax by creating beautiful “Natal charts” ( the exact position of the planet at the time of your birth).

She is very happy working now with Pat for this first Campiglia Workshop, putting all her tourism experience trying to organize it in the best way possible.

kavita Kavita, Website design- is wondering why all recent photographs of her involve a tiara when she is really quite a down-to-earth gal.  She lives in Cambridge and Lyon and designs websites, runs various charities and is a yoga and relaxation teacher.  She is currently training to be a psychotherapist at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London. www.omniyoga.org.uk

The image of the Great Mother has been with humanity since long before historic times.  This symbol still lies hidden in us at a profound level of our being.  In her series, ’13 Aspects of the One’, the artist Rhea Quien explores her own understanding of the feminine principle in a series of 13 paintings.  The paintings show a progression in evolution, coming from the simple and developing into more refined images.  Comments by a group of women havebeen woven into the meditativetextaccompanyingeach painting.Since 1982 Rhea has run her own private practise in Cambridge, England, as a Creative Expression Art focalizer and therapist.  Between 1995 and 2005 she created four series of paintings as well as individual pictures.  Rhea grew up in Kashmir, India, Persia and Europe and has been influences by the culture and nature of these places.  Her interest in the feminine arouse directly from her work with women and their search for ancient and new ways of being.www.rq-art.com
